No. The outcome depends entirely on your own behavior — not chance. You control whether you win or lose. Commitment contract platforms have been legally operating in the US and EU since 2009 (WayBetter, StickK).
What if I have a genuine emergency?
Life happens. Contact us within 48 hours with documentation (medical, family emergency). We review every case manually and issue grace periods or refunds when warranted.
How does the refund work if I win?
Stripe refunds your pledge directly to the original card within 3–5 business days. No action needed from you — it's automatic once your outcome is confirmed.
Which charities receive the money?
We partner with verified international charities in mental health, addiction recovery, and digital wellness. You can see the full list on our Impact page.
Can I cancel a challenge once I start?
No. That's the point. The commitment only works because it's binding. The challenge fee is non-refundable from the moment you start.
What's the verification method?
Currently honor system — you self-report daily. We're building Screen Time API integration (iOS/Android) for automatic verification. Coming soon.
What happens if I miss a day?
The challenge ends immediately and your pledge is split: 65% goes to your chosen charity, 35% goes to PledgeOFF. No partial refunds.
Can I have multiple active challenges?
Yes. You can run as many challenges as you want simultaneously. Each has its own pledge and timeline.
